Your trainer
My name is Chris Harbour and I qualified from Leeds University in 1983. I've worked in general practice ever since then, having two positions as associate and being a principal here since 1988.

During my time as a GDP I have been active within dentistry and as well as carrying out audits and peer reviews. I have been a member of the L.D.C for 5 years. I am currently on my second stint as District Postgraduate Dental Tutor, I am Honorary clinical tutor for Liverpool Dental School training and supervising trainee Therapists within the practice on a Thursday. I have just completed the first part of a M.A. in clinical teaching. I am a Fellow of the Higher Educational Authority (F.H.E.A.) and I won an award in the finals of dentist of the year in 2002 and also in the finals of Trainer of the Year 2009.
I live nearby and my interests include cricket, learning golf, theatre, reading, good music and good food and I love fell walking.
I have been a trainer 11 times previously and enjoyed it each time. Several of my previous VGDP's are still working with me now.
